The FIRST robotics regional competition is this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The agenda from SBPLI is attached. We plan on leaving Northport High School every day at 7:00am and leaving Hofstra in the afternoon at 6:00pm. We will be delivering the Robot to Hofstra on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00pm along with our tools and materials. The only opportunity that we will have to complete any remaining work and tie up any lose ends on Tuesday afternoon.
We hope that all of you will be able to join us in the pits at Hofstra. We have some remaining work to do on the robot to make it compliant with the specs in the rules. We hope to have those issues wrapped up early on Thursday so the operators have sufficient time to practice driving. Our operators are a bit concerned about lack of practice prior to the event. We want to make sure that the operators have plenty of practice time on Thursday so it will be important to finish up any work that needs to be done early.
